Optometrist

Glen graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1994 and worked as a locum for a large chain optometry group. Locum employment provided an opportunity to gain experience working with different demographics of the population. Not happy with the restrictions of corporate optometry he then worked for independent optometrists.

It was during this time that he became interested in Behavioural Optometry. This interest was the catalyst for further study including a Masters of Behavioural Optometry at the UNSW and attainment of Fellowship at the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrist. Gaining Fellowship is a rewarding experience. It teaches the skills required for treating children with strabismus (turned eye), Amblyopia (lazy eye) and learning difficulties.

Glen has completed post graduate study in ocular therapeutics, he is endorsed to prescribe schedule 4 medicines for anterior eye pathology, infections and inflammation.
